Powder Room Remodel with Marble-Look Tile

Cherry Hill, NJ

A Plain Powder Room Becomes a Statement

This Cherry Hill half bath went from plain painted walls to large-format marble-look tile, a fluted feature strip and a backlit mirror.

The Transformation

This small powder room had plain painted walls and very little character. The owners wanted a half bath that would make a big impression on guests, without changing the size of the room.

The design started with a test layout, placing the tile, fluted strip and vanity top together before anything went on the wall. We then set the large-format marble-look tile with a laser line and leveling clips to keep the joints flat and the veining clean.

A fluted wood-look strip runs up the wall behind the vanity, and dark charcoal walls rise above the tile band. A veined stone vanity top, wood-front cabinet, backlit mirror, crystal-style sconce and one-piece toilet finish the room.
