A Cracked Porch Gets a Solid New Surface
A long crack ran across this Cherry Hill brick front porch. We repaired the concrete, built a new base and finished it in stone-look tile.
The Transformation
A long crack ran across the concrete porch at the front door of this Cherry Hill home. Tile laid straight over it would have cracked along the same line.
We ground down the old surface, repaired the crack and applied a protective membrane. Then we built a new mortar bed so the porch had a flat, solid base.
The porch is finished in stone-look tile, laid in a pattern with leveling clips. It now gives the brick walls and blue front doors the entrance they deserve.
