An Open Patio Becomes a Room in the House
We closed in this covered Cherry Hill patio and turned it into a bright sunroom with walls of windows, new siding and dark wood floors.
The Transformation
This Cherry Hill home had a covered patio with lattice and a fence around it. The owners wanted to use that space all year, as a real part of the house.
We poured new footings, framed the walls and set new windows and doors, then wrapped the outside and matched it with new siding. Inside, we finished the room with drywall, recessed lights and dark wood floors.
We also widened the opening from the house and framed it with wood posts and a beam. The sunroom now feels like part of the home, with views of the yard on three sides.
